Zitro Laboratory has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification at the supplier’s Barcelona Technology Campus. The renewal followed an audit of the laboratory’s quality management system and extends a certification the company says it has maintained since 2014.
G3 Newswire reports that the audit assessed the maturity of Zitro’s processes and their alignment with international quality-management practices. ISO 9001 focuses on consistent processes, documented controls and continuous improvement rather than certifying an individual gaming product.
The company’s official announcement connects the renewal with operational efficiency and the integration of sustainability into daily work. The certification applies to Zitro Laboratory at the Barcelona campus, not to every product or service offered by the wider group.
Zitro also said it is preparing for the transition to ISO 9001:2026. That work is a future objective and does not mean the laboratory already holds certification under the forthcoming edition. The current renewal remains under the 2015 version of the standard.
