Booming Games has appointed Ally McIvor as Chief of Sales, creating a dedicated senior leadership position for its commercial team. The supplier said the move is intended to sharpen how it develops new business and manages operator relationships as its market ambitions expand.
According to the appointment report from G3 Newswire, McIvor will oversee the entire sales team, with its members reporting directly to her. She will in turn report to Chief Commercial Officer Michael Waterfield. This makes sales her sole organisational focus rather than one responsibility inside a broader commercial brief.
McIvor arrives with more than seven years in iGaming. Her earlier commercial, partnership and operations roles included positions at Microgaming, Games Global and iSoftBet. Booming Games is using that combination of supplier knowledge and direct customer experience to support both acquisition and retention of operator partners.
The appointment follows McIvor's first public appearance for the company at SBC Lisbon in September. Her immediate remit covers identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing accounts and translating the provider's wider commercial strategy into a more focused sales operation. Waterfield said the structure should help the company pursue priority operators and markets with greater precision.
The change is a management appointment rather than a new product launch or market entry. It nevertheless gives operators a clearer senior contact for commercial discussions and signals that Booming Games is formalising sales leadership as it grows. The company has not disclosed targets, headcount changes or financial terms connected with the role.
