Digitain has appointed Domenico Mazzola as Head of Sales for Italy as the B2B technology supplier builds its commercial presence in the country's regulated iGaming market. The appointment was announced on 29 October and confirmed by Digitain's official channel.
Mazzola will lead sales activity in Italy and develop relationships with local operators. The company said the role is intended to connect its international technology portfolio with the regulatory and operational requirements of a mature, competitive market.
He brings more than ten years of experience across iGaming technology and commercial development. His career began in software development before moving into sales and senior commercial leadership. He later co-founded and led an iGaming technology business, giving him experience spanning product development, partnerships and market-entry planning, according to the appointment report.
That combination matters in Italy, where a platform supplier must adapt its offering to local operator workflows and regulatory expectations rather than rely on a uniform sales proposition. Mazzola said his experience had shown that there is rarely a single solution for every operator, particularly in the Italian market.
The original G3 Newswire coverage links the hire to Digitain's plans to expand its Italian business. The company did not disclose financial terms related to the appointment.
