Gambling, prediction-market and sweepstakes interests directed about $1 million to Arizona political committees during the 2025-26 election cycle, according to an SBC Americas review of state campaign-finance records. The review attributed roughly $680,000 to Democratic-aligned recipients and $325,000 to Republican-aligned efforts.

The largest cross-party streams identified in the report came from the Sports Betting Alliance and VGW-related companies. The alliance, whose members include several licensed sportsbook operators, contributed $335,000 across groups aligned with both parties. VGW and related entities contributed $210,000 to Democratic-aligned committees and $150,000 to Republican-aligned committees.

Other reported contributions were more concentrated. DraftKings gave $54,500 to DAGA Arizona and Fanatics contributed $10,000 to the same group. Underdog sent $107,500 through DAGA Arizona to the Navajo County Democratic Committee and $10,000 to Restore Order Arizona, which supports a Republican candidate for attorney general. Kalshi contributed $15,000 to the Navajo County committee and $5,000 to the Arizona Republican Party.

The Arizona Secretary of State says its public portal allows users to search committee income and expense transactions and view campaign-finance reports. The underlying See The Money database is jointly provided with the Citizens Clean Elections Commission.

Publicly disclosed contributions are legal political activity unless evidence shows otherwise. The records identify amounts and recipients, but they do not prove why a donor contributed or that a recipient promised favourable treatment. Their relevance lies in the regulatory stakes. Arizona policymakers oversee sports betting, fantasy contests, sweepstakes products and the disputed status of event-contract markets.
