A single basic ticket sold in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, has won R$324,898,791.61 in Brazil's Mega-Sena draw 3077. The October 28 result was the lottery's largest payout for one ticket in a regular draw, according to Folha de S.Paulo.
The six winning numbers were 02, 14, 18, 31, 35 and 40. Caixa held the draw in São Paulo during the special Mega Semana sequence of consecutive contests.
The winning entry was a simple six-number ticket registered at the Silce lottery outlet in Rondonópolis. That format uses the minimum selection and carries odds of one in 50,063,860 for matching all six numbers.
Another 116 tickets matched five numbers and will receive R$32,185.33 each. A further 7,598 entries matched four numbers, with a payout of R$701.97 for each winning ticket.
The result reset the top prize for the next contest rather than rolling the accumulated jackpot forward. UOL's draw report confirms the numbers and the R$324.9 million prize.
