PokerStars will run two Spooky Sunday Special progressive-knockout tournaments on November 1 with combined guaranteed prize pools of $275,000. Both events start at 18:05 GMT, according to the published schedule.
The Mini Spooky Sunday Special has a $5.50 buy-in and a $25,000 guarantee. Its structure begins with 25,000 chips, ten-minute blind levels and a two-and-a-half-hour late-registration window with as many as five entries.
The $75 Spooky Sunday Special carries a $250,000 guarantee. Players start with 50,000 chips, and late registration remains open for four hours with up to five entries. Satellites for the event begin at $1.10.
PokerStars ambassador Kenny Hallaert is scheduled to play both tournaments. Eliminating him awards a $109 ticket for the Spooky Season Finale in eligible markets, in addition to the progressive bounty. The ticket offer is not available in Belgium, Denmark, Germany or Sweden.
The Spooky Season promotion concludes with a $109 Sunday Million PKO finale on November 8. PokerNews reports that the two-day tournament has a $1 million guarantee, with its second day scheduled for November 9.
