Sands China is raising its capital expenditure forecast for 2027 and 2028 as it brings forward a major botanical attraction in Macau. Expected spending for each year has increased from $600 million to $750 million, according to Inside Asian Gaming's report on the company's third-quarter call.

The added investment supports three projects across the Cotai Strip. Sands intends to accelerate the transformation of Le Jardin beside The Parisian Macao, renovate all 2,900 rooms at The Venetian Macao and turn the Conrad into a Londoner-themed hotel.

Le Jardin is designed as a year-round botanical destination covering roughly 50,000 square meters. The plans include a prominent glass conservatory and a series of landscaped garden environments. A Las Vegas Sands filing with the SEC describes the garden as part of the group's non-gaming investment commitments in Macau.

Sands China President Grant Chum said design work was making progress and that the company now wants the attraction to reach Macau sooner than initially planned. The Venetian room overhaul is expected to finish before Chinese New Year in early 2028, with about 500 rooms taken out of service at a time to limit disruption.
