FDJ United has lowered its full-year outlook after revenue declined 5.6% to €2.576 billion in the first nine months of 2026. The company's October results show gross gaming revenue falling 2.8% to €6.264 billion as weaker lottery draws, sports-betting payouts, retail traffic and higher taxes weighed on performance.
The group now expects GGR to fall by a low-single-digit percentage and revenue to decline by a mid-single-digit rate for the year. It still targets a recurring EBITDA margin of about 23%, supported by cost controls. These are revised forecasts and remain subject to fourth-quarter trading rather than guaranteed results.
FDJ said the number and size of high EuroMillions jackpots were substantially below 2025 levels, particularly in the third quarter, while sports bettors recorded unusually high winnings. Challenging French economic conditions also reduced point-of-sale traffic. Gaming tax increases cost the group €62 million over the nine-month period. iGaming Business reports that third-quarter revenue alone fell 8.1% to €794 million.
The French lottery and retail sports-betting unit generated €1.794 billion of revenue, down 4.8%, while online betting and gaming revenue dropped 8.2% to €619 million. FDJ plans new draw-game events, 2027 relaunches of Loto and EuroMillions, and a faster rollout of a single sports-betting platform. The company is also reviewing online markets and non-core assets, with conclusions due by early 2027.
