Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has appointed Steven Craven as chief financial officer. He will lead the company's financial operations and strategy as it continues expanding across regulated international markets.

Craven began his career at PwC and spent about a decade in accounting and financial management. He later joined Strix Plc, where his work covered the company's AIM flotation as well as reporting, investor relations and corporate governance.

His subsequent iGaming experience included PokerStars and Flutter, with a focus on work connected to the FTSE merger. He most recently worked at a technology start-up involved in software, web domains and other emerging projects.

Altenar's appointment announcement says Craven will align financial planning with the supplier's long-term objectives. Chief executive and co-founder Stanislav Silin described the hire as part of strengthening the leadership team for international development.

Independent trade coverage confirms the role and career background. The appointment places an executive with experience in public-company reporting and regulated gaming at the centre of Altenar's next stage of financial planning.
