Turning Stone Enterprises restricted payment and gaming services at three New York casino properties after a cybersecurity incident affected parts of its network and communications systems. The operator kept the properties open while selected internal systems were taken offline as a precaution.
The incident began on November 2. CNY Central reported that the company brought in cybersecurity specialists and initially said it was not aware of confidential information being accessed. That statement is preliminary and does not establish the final outcome of the investigation.
Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, Point Place Casino in Bridgeport and YBR Casino and Sports Book in Chittenango were among the affected properties. G3 Newswire reported that card payments and on-site ATMs were unavailable during the initial disruption, while TS Rewards, bingo and sportsbook services were suspended.
Some functions returned before the full operating environment. Yogonet said ATMs at the three gaming properties were restored by November 4 and card payments resumed at the operator's convenience stores. The casinos nevertheless continued on a cash-only basis, with rewards, bingo and sports betting still unavailable.
Turning Stone Enterprises said it would publish daily service updates until the incident was resolved. It had not publicly identified an attacker, confirmed ransomware or announced a completed data-breach finding in the reports reviewed. The disruption shows how a network-security response can limit payments, loyalty systems and regulated wagering operations even when casino floors remain open.
