The 2026 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship has paused with six players remaining from 584 entries. The televised final table is scheduled for 15 December at Wynn Las Vegas, where the finalists will complete a tournament that generated a $2,613,200 prize pool, according to the official WPT event page.
Quoc Mai will begin the final with the chip lead on 10,165,000. Chahn Jung is close behind with 9,075,000, giving the two leaders a substantial advantage over the rest of the table. Ziao Guo occupies third place with 4,095,000.
Shawn Daniels returns with 3,000,000 chips. He is the only designated Shooting Star still in the tournament and the sole WPT Champions Club member among the final six. Eric Zheng holds 2,065,000, while William Davis is the short stack on 700,000. Even that smallest stack represents 18 big blinds when play resumes, according to the PokerNews final-table report.
Every finalist has secured at least $94,000 after Jeremy Menard exited in seventh place on the final-table bubble. The eventual champion will receive $470,500. The delayed finale moves the conclusion from Bay 101 Casino in San Jose to the WPT World Championship festival in Las Vegas.
The $5,300 championship began with two opening flights on 23 and 24 October before the field played down across three further days. Its Shooting Star format attached $2,500 bounties to designated players. Daniels is the last of those bounties still in contention when the six-handed table returns in December.
