PokerNews, GGPoker and Natural8 are running an online freeroll on 31 October that will award 200 satellite tickets worth $12 each. The event is scheduled to begin at 19:00 GMT, according to the promotion announcement.
The prizes are entry points into a qualification route, not direct seats in the live Main Event. Each top-200 finisher receives a $12 ticket for a step leading to a $90 satellite. Players who advance can reach a $600 stage and then a final satellite that awards seats for the $10,000 APT Championship Main Event in Taipei.
An independent event listing from F5 Poker confirms the freeroll's timing and the aggregate $2,400 face value of the 200 tickets. It also notes that access is limited to players who can legally use the participating GGPoker-network rooms. Availability, account requirements and local restrictions can therefore differ by market.
The Asian Poker Tour's official calendar places the APT Championship festival in Taipei from 13 to 29 November. PokerNews says the Main Event carries a $5 million guarantee. A player winning the first ticket still has to clear each later satellite stage before securing a seat, so the promotion should not be read as offering 200 Main Event entries.
The campaign is one of several online qualification channels attached to the festival. Its immediate prize pool is modest compared with the live event, but the broad distribution of entry-step tickets is designed to bring more players into the satellite funnel.
