The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation recorded total revenue of Php64.4 billion for the first nine months of 2026, a 23.4% decline from the same period last year. The contraction was led by weaker electronic-gaming income, according to the financial report covered by Inside Asian Gaming.

Revenue from licensed eGames fell 37.2% to Php27.6 billion from Php44.0 billion a year earlier. The report linked that change to the removal of direct connections between e-wallets and online gaming sites, alongside tighter regulatory controls. Gaming operations as a whole generated Php58.1 billion, down from Php75.9 billion.

The land-based figures also moved lower, but less sharply. Licensed casinos produced Php23.1 billion, a 3.22% decrease. PAGCOR's Casino Filipino branches reported Php7.28 billion, down 8%, while poker revenue fell 4.6% to Php105.9 million.

Net income dropped 84.9% to Php2.17 billion. The result reflects lower gaming revenue and higher statutory remittances. A Supreme Court order requires PAGCOR to account for and remit 5% of its gross annual income, after franchise tax, to the Philippine Sports Commission.

Despite the weaker earnings, PAGCOR said it transferred Php45.3 billion for nation-building and other statutory obligations during the nine-month period. That included Php27.6 billion for the National Treasury's government share, Php3.01 billion for the sports commission and Php2.90 billion in franchise taxes. Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco said the agency would continue strengthening operations and regulatory oversight while supporting public programmes.
