Nevada casinos generated $1.2825 billion in gaming win during September, almost unchanged from the same month in 2025. The Nevada Gaming Control Board recorded a 0.05% year-on-year decline, while the first three months of the state fiscal year remained 1.67% ahead.
The Las Vegas Strip contributed $693.4 million and stayed within 1% of its prior-year result. Baccarat win increased nearly 10% to $55.4 million, but other southern Nevada markets were mixed. Downtown Las Vegas fell 7.5%, the local market declined 3%, and Laughlin dropped 16%.
Visitor volume was also broadly flat at just over three million, according to the LVCVA research update. Hotel occupancy slipped 0.5%, while average daily rates declined 6% across the area and 10% on the Strip.
The clearest weakness came from air travel. iGaming Business reports that Harry Reid International Airport handled about four million passengers, 8% fewer than a year earlier. International traffic rose 6%, but total airport volume remained 7% lower for the year to date, creating a softer backdrop for the destination's casinos and hotels.
