Three rural Nevada casinos moved closer to adding William Hill-branded betting facilities after the state control board backed their license applications. The proposed locations are Terrible's properties in Indian Springs, Carlin and Searchlight.

The official November regulatory agenda treats each property as a separate application. The requested authority covers sports pools and off-track pari-mutuel race wagering, rather than a general casino expansion. William Hill Nevada would operate the betting services through its relationship with Terrible's.

A board recommendation is one stage of Nevada's licensing process, so none of the three approvals is final yet. CDC Gaming said the applications are likely to reach the Nevada Gaming Commission on November 19. A favorable commission vote would allow the operator to extend a network that already spans large casinos, small staffed counters and self-service kiosks.

The preliminary decisions came with compliance requirements. They address reserve arrangements, computerized pool controls and surveillance reviews. William Hill would also need administrative clearance before converting a location from a staffed counter to kiosk-only service or making the reverse change.

The control board considered other sportsbook matters at the same meeting. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that five recommendations advanced overall, with two additional applications involving Boomer's Sports Book. The Terrible's decisions therefore form part of a wider licensing round, while their final operating authority remains pending.
