Macau Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai will present the territory's 2027 Policy Address to the Legislative Assembly on November 16. The Government Information Bureau said the address will begin at 3pm, followed by a press conference at Government Headquarters at 5.30pm.
Sam will return to the assembly on November 17 for a plenary question-and-answer session with lawmakers. The government also scheduled debates for its five policy portfolios between November 20 and November 30, beginning with administration and justice and ending with transport and public works.
The official notice does not disclose the policy address's financial targets. Inside Asian Gaming expects the presentation to include a gross gaming revenue budget for 2027, following the sector's established role in Macau's public finances. That forecast remains an expectation until the government releases the address.
The policy presentation will be broadcast by public broadcaster TDM and streamed through government, Chief Executive, legislature and information-bureau channels. The schedule gives casino operators, investors and residents a fixed date for the administration's next fiscal and social-policy framework.
