Lottomatica generated €1.72 billion in revenue during the first nine months of 2026, a 5% increase from the same period last year. Online revenue grew more quickly, rising 13% to €781 million as the group expanded its share of Italy's digital gambling market.
The company's nine-month results show total wagers of €35 billion, up 8%, and adjusted EBITDA of €665 million. Revenue reached €537 million in the third quarter alone, while adjusted EBITDA for the quarter increased 3%.
Lottomatica said its overall Italian online market share was 31.7% in the third quarter, 0.9 percentage points above the comparable 2025 period. Its online sports betting share reached 34.8%, while iGaming stood at 31.2%. The figures are based on data from the Italian customs and monopolies agency.
The results are the first full trading update since Lottomatica announced its planned combination with Cirsa. Reuters notes that the proposed €2.8 billion transaction remains part of the group's expansion strategy. Completion still depends on the required corporate and regulatory approvals.
