Konami's Gaming & Systems division reported JPY2.41 billion, about US$15.3 million, in business profit for the six months ended September 30. The result was 154.5% higher than a year earlier, when the segment recorded JPY949 million.
The Inside Asian Gaming report says segment revenue increased 41.3% to JPY25.1 billion, roughly US$159 million. The rebound followed higher gaming-machine sales after the prior period was affected by tariff measures and customers delaying purchases ahead of new cabinets.
GGRAsia's earnings review also reported a strong group-wide half. Konami revenue rose 37% to JPY307.98 billion, while profit attributable to owners increased 70.5% to JPY79.24 billion.
Konami's corporate business page describes the division as a supplier of casino machines and management systems, primarily in markets including North America and Australia. The segment therefore combines cabinet sales with recurring technology and service activity.
The SYNKROS management platform reached 150,000 connected machines earlier in 2026, according to CDC Gaming. That milestone predates the latest earnings release but provides scale for the systems side of the business. Konami did not separate the half-year contribution of SYNKROS from equipment sales in the figures cited.
