Union workers at Encore Boston Harbor ratified a new collective bargaining agreement on November 5, ending a strike that had lasted more than two months. Members of UNITE HERE Local 26 and Teamsters Local 25 are set to return to the Everett casino resort.

A local report from WCVB confirmed the vote after Wynn Resorts disclosed a framework agreement during its quarterly earnings call. The company said the deal works for employees and the property's long-term future.

About 1,350 workers began the strike on September 4 after the previous contract expired. Negotiations covered wages, health-care funding, pension benefits, job security and guaranteed hours.

Encore Boston Harbor generated $194.7 million in operating revenue during the third quarter, down $17.1 million from a year earlier. Wynn described the labor stoppage as a modest headwind and said it expects the full team to return.
