Pennsylvania's regulated gaming market generated $555.04 million in September 2026, an increase of 4.07% from the same month last year. The total includes land-based casino games, online casino games, sports wagering, truck-stop video gaming terminals and fantasy contests.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said the activity produced $242.63 million in tax revenue before any adjustments by the state Department of Revenue. The statewide revenue comparison was $555.04 million against $533.33 million in September 2025.
Online casino games were the largest category at $249.31 million, up 6.82%. Online slots contributed $197.37 million, while online tables generated $49.66 million and online poker produced $2.27 million. Retail slot revenue increased 2.44% to $196.16 million.
Retail table games moved in the opposite direction, falling 18.07% to $60.16 million. Fantasy contest revenue declined 23.75% to $1.49 million, and truck-stop video gaming terminal revenue fell 4.90% to $3.18 million. The category mix shows that the statewide gain did not reflect uniform growth.
Sportsbooks handled $798.74 million in wagers, 6.09% less than a year earlier, but taxable sports wagering revenue rose 50.45% to $44.74 million. Handle measures the amount staked, while revenue reflects the operator result after payouts and adjustments; their monthly growth rates can therefore diverge substantially.
The regulator's six-page report provides operator-level tables, and a current SoloAzar report confirms the headline totals. These are monthly gaming-revenue figures rather than company profit, because operating costs and other expenses are not deducted.
