Peng Huang left the KPC Jeju festival with a main-event title and a second major final-table result. He won the KPC Main Event for $128,102 before finishing runner-up in the higher-priced King's Main Event for another $350,000, according to the festival recap from PokerNews.
The KPC Main Event drew 1,082 entries and generated an $851,075 prize pool, with 125 players paid. Huang reached the last match against Hong Zhu after Yilong Wang exited in third. The finalists agreed to flatten the difference between their payouts, and Huang then secured the trophy while Zhu received $102,100.
Huang's next deep run came in the $15,000 King's Main Event. Its 169 entries created a prize pool of roughly $2.37 million, and the Chinese player advanced to a heads-up contest with Lithuania's Marius Kudzmanas. The duel lasted about 90 minutes.
In the final hand, Kudzmanas held jack-eight against Huang's ace-three and paired his jack on the flop. Kudzmanas collected $533,800 for first place, while Huang's $350,000 runner-up prize became the larger of his two scores at the festival.
