Macau casinos generated MOP21.68 billion in gross gaming revenue during October, a decline of 10% from the same month last year. The result was still about 20% higher than September, reflecting the month-to-month lift around the National Day holiday period.

The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reports that revenue for the first ten months of 2026 reached MOP208.79 billion, up 1.6% year on year. October nevertheless extended the market's recent sequence of annual monthly declines.

Inside Asian Gaming says Seaport Research Partners expects November revenue to fall 6.1% from a year earlier. That forecast would produce a sixth consecutive monthly decline. Seaport estimates VIP revenue fell by more than 35% in October, while mass revenue decreased by a low-single-digit percentage. Those segment figures are the research firm's analysis rather than official DICJ data.

Seaport also forecasts fourth-quarter revenue will decline 5.2% year on year, implying a better comparison in December. Analyst Vitaly Umansky linked current premium-market weakness to economic and financial pressures affecting higher-value customers, while retaining a positive longer-term view of Macau operators. Both the November and quarterly figures remain forecasts and may change with actual trading.
