Bet1Cent will stop offering general betting operations in Uganda at the end of 2026. Geefy Entertainment SMC Limited, the company behind the brand, formally notified the country's National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board of the planned exit.

The operator's final day is December 31. iGaming AFRIKA reports that the regulator issued the notice so customers, business partners and other stakeholders have time to complete outstanding transactions before services end.

Customers with active accounts are being advised to withdraw remaining balances and settle pending tickets or claims by the deadline. The notice frames the transition as a commercial exit rather than an immediate enforcement closure, with operations continuing until the stated date.

The regulator's public notice confirms that the company initiated the withdrawal and gives the Board's helpline and email for unresolved concerns. The announcement adds another operator transition to Uganda's regulated betting market while placing the immediate focus on an orderly settlement of customer obligations.
