Brazilian federal collections classified under gambling and betting reached R$11.116 billion from January through September 2026, according to figures presented by the Federal Revenue Service. The agency held its September revenue briefing on October 22.
The total is broader than revenue from fixed-odds online operators alone. Current reporting by iGaming Brazil and UOL puts the fixed-odds component at R$6.86 billion. That consists of R$3.72 billion in statutory allocations and R$3.14 billion in corporate taxes and contributions including income tax, PIS and Cofins.
The broader gambling-and-betting category also covers other activities, including lottery collections, so the R$11.116 billion figure should not be read as online betting tax alone. September generated R$1.206 billion for the wider category, up from R$1.163 billion in August.
The latest release follows an August total of R$9.91 billion. Revenue officials said September still reflected normal fixed-odds collections because the provisional measure prohibiting online fixed-odds betting was issued only near the end of that month.
